Your child is truly incredible and I hope to remind them of that every single day. Their multilingualism is truly a superpower. The ability to speak more than one language enables them to communicate and effectively connect with more people than someone who is monolingual. Regardless of their fluency, their brain and neurons are working twice as hard to translate information back and forth as they hear a second language and translate it to their native language. Your child is wonderful and I hope to use this website to better support you and your child’s language development. Epic!
Epic! Is a fantastic online library that you can use. Your child can read books that interest them during silent reading or at home. They have the option to listen to books being read aloud to them or in any language suggested. The more exposure your child has to listening and reading in English, the more their literacy will increase.
Storyline Online
Storyline Online is a fantastic way to listen to various actors and native English speakers read children’s books. They sometimes ask questions and always read an engaging story to your child. This would be great to listen to at night before bedtime.
